Carousel Tattoo and Barbershop is a hip spot in Port Dalhousie with a crew of talented tattoo artists. Plus, gentlemen can treat themselves to a hot towel shave or a slick new haircut.
Port Dalhousie, St. Catharines, is home to one of only nine antique hand-carved carousels remaining in Canada. Riding the carousel is a timeless tradition, like having a great haircut or a quality hot towel shave from a professional barber.
The aptly named Carousel Tattoo was opened in October 2017 by Tattoo artist Jordan Campbell. Along with tattooers Graham Mowers and Jamie Nadalin, barber Jesse Marks is also on Jordan’s team. Together they provide a laidback atmosphere in hip surrounds with quality service.
Jordan has curated the interior of Carousel with touches like a wooden carousel horse, retro pinball machine, old-school barber’s chair, a gorgeous antique cash register, as well as other cool barbershop paraphernalia that look like they belong in a museum.
My Chief Researcher was happy to take a seat and put Jesse’s barber skills to work, and equally pleased with the quick, clean cut and the attention-to-detail given to his fade.
Find these guys on Instagram to spy their work in ink and on hair or, better yet, pop-in and kickback in Jesse’s chair for a fresh new hairdo.
